COVID-19 Information
The COVID-19 Pandemic is greatly affecting travel to Kauai. Kauai has been working vigilantly to control the virus and they have been very successful. Kauai has averaged one or two daily cases for most of the pandemic. To achieve these results, strict quarantines of visitors have been implemented. The quarantine rules have been changing so it is important to stay abreast of the latest information.
Kauai County COVID-19 Quarantine Policy as of April 5, 2021
As of April 5, 2021 Kauai visitors may avoid the current mandatory10 day quarantine with a negative COVID test. To qualify, the visitor must have negative COVID test results no more than 72 hours prior to departure to Kauai. The test results must be received and uploaded into the Hawaii Safe Travels application prior to boarding the flight to Kauai. Refer to County of Kauai for specific COVID testing and related requirements.
