JO2 is a spectacular restaurant in Kapa'a opened by local Celebrity Chef Jean-Marie Josselin.    Jean-Marie was one of the pioneers of Hawaiian Regional Cuisine.   When he retired, his Executive Chef took over the restaurant.   The food is just as delicious as when Jean-Marie was cooking.   Every dish is an incredible work of art.  Many are topped with edible flowers.

 

JO2 is our favorite restaurant on Kauai.   We eat here several times each visit.  JO2 has an unassuming location in a strip shopping center on Kuhio highway in Kapa'a.   But make no mistake, this is one of the very best restaurants on Kauai.  It has an elegant, sophisticated but relaxed feel.   They added a full bar and opened a patio in back.  We often stop at the bar to share an appetizer and an entree.  They currently have a 3 course prix fixe dinner from 5 pm - 6 pm each day.
